Hi guys. Some of you have known me as Beachkat. Left in a huff a while back. Whether it was justified or not, it doesn't really matter now to me. It's all in the past. I'm back in a different capacity and with a different attitude and I hope you will accept me back on these new terms.
I'm here as a vendor now and awaiting a vendor section which I think poncho is giving some thought to. I'm happy to support the site, financially, if Poncho determines that is the route to go. Once poncho has authorized me as a vendor on the site, I will provide more details on my venture. For now I can tell you that I am a registered Ontario Used Car Dealer  with hopes to specialize in higher end classics and special interest cars along with some cool Mancave outfitting products. It's going to take a couple more months to set up but we are well on our way there. I will keep you posted.

Good to have you back Roger......I have created a Vendor's section. I know there are a few guys with businesses that might find it useful. For now, there is no charge for this, I hope it always can stay free, as I like to keep things simple. We will see how this works out.

Welcome back! Keep us up to date on your man cave stuff as I have guys asking me all the time to keep my eyes open for stuff at swap meets etc. and most guys want things cheap so repo stuff would be ok.

Thanks for all the welcome backs everyone!

 

Modfather, I just want to be transparent. I am a former member, who became a vendor and is now a vendor member. I believe that vendors are here by privilege because we have products that we sell that may be of interest to other members. So we need to behave in a different manner. No mouthing off. No being opinionated. No favoring one vehicle over another. No ripping people off. Not that that was the way I was necessarily. But as a general member, being overly passionate about things at times is cool.  Vendor members march to a different drummer. Poncho did not make this a requirement, but I believe this is what the other members would expect in return for the privilege of being able to present our products on this forum. A couple of members and I fell into the woodchipper a while back and I ended up feeling pretty bad about it, especially since one of them was new to the forum and the country. That's why I left and wanted to come back with a clean slate and a more appropriate screen name. And I thank you all for allowing it.

I have seen you bully and terrorize people here that you happen to disagree with and they have been the first to welcome you back. You have chased good people from this forum and we have lost there skills and knowledge

I wonder if you would have been so forgiving.

Not once have i even seen a hint of an appology

Like I mentioned to you Poncho, there's a couple guys that pissed me right off so I don't come here often as I used to. I don't ask for help and I don't offer any because either way it seems a couple fella's need to impress everyone with their abundant knowledge by trying to make others look stupid. I don't need that sh*t.

I didn't want to jump on the welcome wagon either, as for some reason, I figured you might actually have tried to keep your end of the deal. ( it's just plain and simple good "business" etiquette), but your attempt was just simply non existent, for what-ever reason you would like to claim.
I have made a few really nice purchases to add to my "mancave collection" since, and a few more are already lined up.
The unfortunate part is, the $ won't be exchanging between us. Good luck on you venture, word of mouth goes a long way.
I kept quiet for a lengthy amount of time, giving you the opportunity to make things right, but...nothing!

I now see in that sale thread that your email address was sent to me but actually it was not. Or at least I never received it and I checked my junk mail. So let me know if you still want it.

I never got an email from Harry. Maybe Harry can chime in if he sent it.  Also that thread was from after I left and today is the first I've seen it also.

 

If you don't want it, that's fine, but if you do it's yours. Yesterday I came across the replacement front decal for it that I had bought on ebay from someone in the UK. You can have it at no charge for your disappointment. But really I had forgotten all about it and certainly always had your name on it. I never tried to sell it to anyone else.

If you choose to interact with members outside of the vendors section and try to be a vendor/member you may do more harm than good to your start up business as is already apparent.
