i carried this comment by "fordy" over here because it is a different direction.  and i am curious.

" if I forget my age and really start rockin' out there! Lol!"

.whats everybody listening to in the shop?  not so much per artist but style of tunes. we have all been there, puttering away at something and a certain tune comes on and you just have to, i call it give it a crank hank. luckily i don't have any close neighbors but the bride has come out of the house shakin her head.

and there are some artists that come on from a different style that kinda crossover that you have to give it the crank.  lol  i have sirrius-shaw sat-fm-cd's. a lot of times i load 6 discs and hit random play.  just curious. this tends to be a per individual preference. my niche is classic rock-older country rock and some odd ball stuff also.

I like music with a "beat". I've heard it referred to as table dancing music lol.

My CNC mill has internet access, and I have it hooked up to an amp. I usually listen to rushradio.net or PinkFloyd radio through WinAmp. Lots of stuff you just don't hear on radio like B sides and live songs. No commercials either makes it a bonus.

I listen to "Hot Rod Radio" in shop. Wings Kalahan is great and listening to oldies, plus the old car commercials are a plus.

When tired of odies, Floyd, Supertramp, etc go on.

The Wolf 101.5 FM 24/7 using an old analog nikko reliever with a coat-hanger for an antenna pushing out thru a set of JBL decades with pioneer replacement automotive woofers to keep the mice company.

I tend to mix it up pretty good - especially out there in the shop where it's just me.

Mostly Southern Rock, Rockabilly, and Blues. Stevie Ray Vaughn and Brian Setzer among my favorites. More often than not, my old age laziness kicks in and I just throw on the satellite for commercial free music.
