Went up Friday to the market.Didn't buy a lot ,but spent the whole day chatting with old friends .new friends and people in general about my favourate topic ,old cars.
Thought it funny though ran into pugsly , Dave m, and hemi 43 all complaining there was nothing there
Pugs bought a new wallet ,Dave m bought a beautiful leather hat and I am sure hemi had on a new pair of sock's 'although he wouldn't admit it.
It was a great day with a few good laugh's and sharing it with some great, like minded people
I don't know about "nothing there" since I picked up everything I was looking for. Guess I was looking harder than they were! Right rear lower 1/4 trim for my 57 Belair "perfect for only $20.00", hood rockets from Manitoba "mint" $50.00 for the pair, excellent cond hoodbar $40.00 and a second one with a blemish for $45.00.Vintage Cragar S/S caps 4 for $10.00! Pinion angle shims for $10.00 as well. My buddies got everything they went for as well....a tall deck BBC aluminum intake for $150.00,American Racing Torque Thrusters, Ford 429 intake, headers, dist and more! Many people walked right past our 3 booths of vintage car parts and didn't take one glance....it was discouraging.I made it home with money left over so I guess I'll be vending again...
I picked up a big ( 40") Mobil pegasus horse, fiberglass. A rear clip of a 67 vette that is a loveseat. And a front clip that is intended to be wall mounted. Very cool stuff!
We got there at 9 am, and had a good buzz by 10. Met up with some real crazies from South River as well as Fatstax,Pugsy and Joe Mac. I found nothing because I wasn't looking for anything, so it was "mission accomplished"!! Weather was awesome and we ended the day with a pound of wings. Life doesn't get much better !!!
I went on Sunday and was actually surprised at the amount of automotive vendors for a change. It was not a wasted day even the vendors did not start packing until after 2pm. The best part is I only heard Haney yapping twice all day.
PM me with a price on the Pegasus if it's one of those items for the store. If you are willing to trade fo rother neat stuff, I can probably do that as well..
I have stuff in and out of my garage pretty frequently similar to what I think you'll be peddling?
Cheers,
Chris.

I went on the Saturday.. Best Fall show I have seen yet. It was actually nice that it was over cast. (No sun burn) but also no short shorts or bikini babes to be seen all day.
I was looking for 57 Chev truck parts, but like mentioned earlier. When your looking for it, is when you'll never find it. Maybe next year.
