Hi All,

I'm Ailsa, wife of "Dave the Scott", nice to meet a few people at the ELTA mixer today  Thought I'd finally get myself on the forum and be a person in my own right and not just Dave's better half !!!

Always been a bit of a petrolhead although generally was/am into the Jap stuff and currently drive a Subaru Impreza WRX. Yes... Yes I know you probably all hate Jap "crap" but as a daily driver the scooby ticks all my boxes!

I'm keen to help David and Glen build up the Rat Rod which is currently a shell and a growing pile of parts in our garage! I'm a mechanical engineer to trade, but I get enough of that at work and am happy to leave the mechanical stuff to the boys! I'd specifically like to get into doing the interior. I'm half decent with a sewing machine and always fancied learning how to make car chairs, door linings, dash boards and the like... My current sewing machine isn't really up to the job and I know I have a lot to learn on this stuff but hey you have to start somewhere right?! Maybe someone on here is an expert on this stuff and can show me the ropes!

Anyway, enough wiffle from me, just thought I'd say Hi, and yes... I'm Glaswegian and have a funny accent too!

After getting to know the Scotts im not surprised Ails is now a member

I must warn you all

Shes a great person BUT

HAS AN ACCENT THICKER THAT PEANUTBUTTER ON TOAST!

Abd some of tge words she uses are not in the Scottish to English dictionary
