In your pics you show vice grips holding the 2 sides together. How did you join the 2 sides..weld..spot weld.?? Very nicely done.

I reviewed all the postings for this thread this morning and I realized that I never posted a pic of the underside with the bottom carb plate welded in so here it is. You can see In the second Pic that I just  tacked the top and the botton together oat the inside seam. The seam was then sealed with a urethane caulk.  The exterior seam will have a strip of the plastic trim I'm holding in my hand installed on the flange. I wasn't happy with the paint I applied so I am letting it age before I sand and repaint it then the seam trim will be installed.DSC07046.JPGDSC07044.JPGDSC07042.JPGDSC07043.JPG

Hats off to yah. Ive tried a few times to make a breather for my buick but they come out looking like a blind man made them. Well done sir.
