I reviewed all the postings for this thread this morning and I realized that I never posted a pic of the underside with the bottom carb plate welded in so here it is. You can see In the second Pic that I just  tacked the top and the botton together oat the inside seam. The seam was then sealed with a urethane caulk.  The exterior seam will have a strip of the plastic trim I'm holding in my hand installed on the flange. I wasn't happy with the paint I applied so I am letting it age before I sand and repaint it then the seam trim will be installed.
