I bet it is, but maybe someone is looking and if so, it is what they are willing to pay.

Maybe the previous owner will post here about it, he's a member here, and i can tell you that car is built right. He never cut corners .

I built that car, it is done right. Indestructable Strange Rear axle assembly, Ford 9 inch, had 6:23 gears when I sold it.
The car has a four link and will hook anywhere.
I ran it with at 355 small block chev that made 569 horsepower.
The car ran 10:40's in GT/HA

Nice car!
It looks like it's built to handle even more power if that's what the new owner wanted.

Sellers choice.  If you are interested, contact the seller like the ad says.  If you are not interested then turn the page and forget about it.  No time wasted.

That's one good looking '55.  Even better to have the information on it's history and builder.

I am trying to get some information out of the new owner since my non computer using friend is interested in the car, but he's not too forthcoming.

Is the chassis cert'd and if so, what is it cert'd for and when?  Also, what size tire is the car designed to use? 10.5w or 14"?

The chassis is certified if I remember correctly to 8.50 in 2006
I ran 14" tires on it but it would be easy to run 10.5's as there is lots of room.

Thanks.  I just got hold of the guy.  It's funny, but I have met him before - I bought another car off of him a couple of years ago. He's a pretty cool guy with a ton of cool cars.

For those who are wondering - he is asking $18K for the car and he is not interested in trades.
