My wife and I took a bit of a road trip to Indy last weekend to the Goodguys Speedway Nationals.  This is the first goodguys event I've been to and it was a blast!  Being amongst all of the great rides was one thing but to be at the brickyard was incredible.  Here's some pics from our time there.

yep, they still have the bus tour around the track.  We did it, as well as toured the museum, it was pretty awesome seeing everything at the museum.

Grumper, just wondering, do they still have a tour ride for folks around the brickyard?

I took that trip lots of years ago, pretty impressive.

Thanks for posting. Some really good pictures there. Looks like you had a blast.

Here a link to some more pics: https://www.facebook.com/BurntBridgeImages

I like the one of the straight six with a blower on it, never seen that before.

He's got some action shots at the autocross course, proof that at least some of them are driven.

I really liked the galaxie with the coyote as well, it would be a blast to drive.  We didn't take the wagon down, I've been chasing gremlins in the rear airshocks.  I spoke with the guys at ridetech at the show and they gave me some info so I'm hoping to get it sorted out this afternoon.  The guys are ridetech are great to deal with, their products may be a little higher priced than some others, but they stand behind them and make sure things are right.

Thanks for providing this link Grumper!

I agree with your Galaxie pick Mike, but there are sooooo many sweet rides shown - so many A's, the '33, how about the brand 'X' woody wagon towing the FED!!! and that bright green Ford Uni-body Pick-up pegged the fun meter too!

That bright green uni-body was for sale for the low low price of $18,000.  It was a sharp truck.
