Big final shootout at the dragstrip here this weekend! 16 Pro Mod Cars putting on a show, plus the regulars as far away as Ottawa, Thunderbay, and Southern Ontario. This morning early already trucks pulling race car trailers were pulling in there to get set up for tommorrow afternoon when timetrials/test and tune starts at 3PM.
Gorgeous weather, temps are to be 23c, beautifull sunny weekend, fall colours are about 75% changed Gotta love it!!

That's what the track needs, big car count & a "show" to bring in the people. This keeps the owners happy and the Northern folk have a nearby place to Race!
Enjoy the weekend Larry and good luck Racing!

Thanks JPB..had a great weekend...as for the racing for me it could have been better...Friday night I was cutting some good lights, ran on or close to my number, Saturday morning time trials were the same...got my ass handed to me third round of eliminations...sunday was the same ...all in all though...no complaints...cars in one piece, so am I..as for my son and daughter....lets just say I have 2 engines to rebuild this winter .
I actually laughed at myself. I jumped back so fast/far when they cracked that I landed on top of Art. I had literally just said to him man....if that thing ever came off the stands it would let lose something wild.
That Chevelle is a beautiful car..think he cut a high 6 with it..named after his young son who passed away from leukemia a few yrs back....the 40 chev is a quick truck also... he flipped it in Grand Bend last year i believe on a 9 second pass...he walked away with a sore wrist.. the Monza IS A HIGH 5 SECOND CAR..had some suspension issues with it at the start of the year but sorted out now...he comes from Sudbury
