If I haven't mentioned it before, The engine is basically a 1964 Buick 300, crank, pistons and heads; Rover 4.6 block and Buick 215 rods. The blower cam was designed by Don Dulmage and ground by Comp Cams. Other attached parts are from the 300, 215 and Rover. The 4.6 block has 4 bolt mains and has been fitted with tophat sleeves. The heads are ported and polished with larger valves. I am under driving the blower 10% to get an effective compression ratio of 12:1 built for the street. Right now there is a delay in getting the engine finished due to a lot of mitigating circumstances but it will be done. This engine was originally built by Jim Hall for Can-Am racing.
Nothing too mysterious here. I had chosen the colour and in fact I think it had been painted, anyhow some of us were sitting around discussing the next step and of course enjoying the mandatory wobbly pop when (did I mention I have an Irish Wolf Hound who like to eat plants for her digestion) Molly, after having just consumed a reasonable portion of my wife's garden, suddenly spit it all out. Well the first comment that came out of anybody's mouth was that's the same colour as your car Warren. Well, I liked that and it had a nice irreverence to it. The plates were issued.
As you may know, Warren is slightly over 16 years old now !
I hope I retain the passion which Warren has at his young age, who has just begun to rebuild one of his old drag cars ! This is amazing Warren and thanks for the stories....
I guess I should tell you Warren, I was playing with some electrical tape on your "Dog Spit" license plate. Wonder what is says now ? I must have been board for a minute or two :)

Are you talking about Dog Spit or some other car?
According to Warrens first post on this topic, one year ago, he stated the car was officially started three years ago. That means he actually started Dog Spit four years ago. Has he started a new project? If so, how about some pics.
When you're this old, just begun can mean 4 years ago and Dog Spit is just about finished but yes....there is a another project. Right now it is just a pile of tubing on the floor, well maybe not quite. We're just getting a direction so when things come together, there will be pictures.
Well, the car is pretty well finished, down to the spit n polish. Jeff Norwell and I have a booth in COBO Hall on the upper floor, so hopefully if you're in the neighbourhood, you will drop by. I will be showing by myself the following weekend at the International Center in Mississauga at Motorama, again drop on by. We can't publish any more photos until the show, but what's here hasn't changed much. I have waited for this moment for almost five years, but I think it is worth it.
It's a good thing your dog threw up, Just think what they would call the car if the dog had the runs? LOL. Not sure they would've issued you those plates ...
Can't wait to see it!
Great work
