That place is usually packed. I have been there several times.
A couple years ago my son got passes in to Richard Childress' condo.
Good view from there and not noisy. Plus lots to eat and drink.
My son does compooter work for some NASCAR shops.

Whole sections are empty. The price Nascar pays for controlling the outcomes of the race..

Plus a ****ty economy in the south doesnt help.

Used to go to Bristol a lot ( in spite of the 600 mile drive ) and every seat was filled for years . I quit going about 7 years ago and have noticed that there are more and more empty seats even at Bristol these days , when I tune in .

I went to the August Bristol race in 2011 and the Sprint Cup race was packed! The Nation Wide, Truck and Whelen Modifieds not so much, each one with decreasing attendance. I would recommend Bristol as THE track to attend if you are only going to one race in your lifetime - great time!

How far is Pocono from the border?
Lots of good racing there, but I never got there.

Interest in NASCAR is going away because its becoming more like F1 with fenders every race.It is all controlled now, last nights race went green flag till the last few laps then the usual debris caution .Why don't they just call it the stop the parade caution or the we don't want this leader to win caution .My son and I used to call them the Earnhart caution as there seemed to be debris on the track just as he was about to be laped. I went to Charlotte last year and there were lots of empty seats
Charlotte is a great city and the track itself is excellent but the racing there is boring.
