Welcome from Belleville.
First project eh? First figure out what you really want to build, then figure out how much you can spend.
Those 2 things will give you an idea of where to start.

It is always good to learn from the trials of others. A lot of people get in over their head on their first project and loose all interest in what can be a very rewarding hobby. I have given this advice to others and find it works. Read this link and perhaps the complete thread. ontariorodders.activeboard.com/t54884446/1930-model-a-tudor-frame-help/. I've been doing this for 53 years and wouldn't miss a day of it. Welcome to the site and good luck.

I read it all and found it very insightful! Thank-you
So folks, the search is over for now, we dropped Jays new wheels off last night. Not much of a Chevy guy but this little car will be a great first ride for Jay and the family. Stock drivetrain, lowered 2" ,done with Jamco spindles and blocks, goofy GM rally wheels that will disappear soon and a nice old paint job that will tie in nicely for the time being. So happy for you guys! Mr. Deklavs, I was almost going top stop last night for a beer but never arrive in your neighbourhood till after your bedtime... I will be back in a few weeks I'm sure! By the way, looks like you guys are about staggering distance away from each other ! He's on Old Simcoe St. just north of Scugog half a block ( sided house with the full porch and garage out back.Drop over some night and see the old bomb.
