Randy, I didn't see you there! The Bentley sold for $122.K, and a '48 Chrysler Woody convertible didn't sell for $135.K. There was a few high hitters there. Nice to see the hot rods getting some good money.

Somehow we missed! I was there with the wife and hung  around the 37? Packard coupe most of the day. I found that Packard drew a lot of high enders. I don't know the big guy from the Guild but it looked like he was helping a guy buy something or maybe visa-versa.A lot of "money" guys there at least they were dressed the part.I am trying to see what things are selling for so I know how the market is.I spent some time with Shorts and 55 blood for a while then had to go visit some friends,I was going to come back but my feet were killing me! Did you buy something?Did you see what the Packard went for?

I didn't get to see the '37 Packard go on the block. There really was nothing there that I was interested on bidding on, the few I liked were out of my range of affordability.

I was also looking at what the market was like. Looks like you can get a fair return for your dollar spent building an old school Rod. The return was .30 on the dollar, not long ago. Now it's looking like you can make a few bucks, if you keep your build clean an simple.
