I had a few of them. I still have a ViewMaster.
Here's a trivia one for you. Did you know....Lincoln Logs were invented by John Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright, the architect.

I likely had maybe 30% of those! I'm not sure if it's the same as the one shown, but I had a stamped tin 'death ray stun gun' that had a weighted flywheel and a flint that sparked like crazy and you could see the "fireworks display" through the grill as they bounced around inside and sprayed out the hole in the front. The faster you pulled the trigger, the brighter and hotter the sparks! I remember that it got a little warm if you really went after it and didn't have the most pleasant smell either. Try selling that one nowadays!!!!

I wonder what my mom was thinking. By todays standards she would have been up on charges and I would have been in childrens aid, as I at one time or another had a wood burning kit,a microscope with slides of all manor of fungus ,spores and other wonderful stuff and the ultimate, a science set thst would allow you to do all kinds of experiments with various powders and liquids.I also had an endless supply of glue for all the models I built as well.It was I think a much easier time to be a kid .
