Going to go look at a 261 in the next few days it has a powerglide bolted to it that I dont want or need but if any one WANTS it let me know he's asking 50 bucks.

Slim, Is it the Iron glide or aluminum? If its the aluminum version, I'll take it.

I would expect it to be iron stock 57 with the 1 1/2 bell adapter to the inline 6. If im wrong ill grab it for you . but i  dont think so.

Aluminum Powerglides started in 62

Thanks Poncho, I knew about the aluminum starting in 62, but an engine that old may have something different than original. Just hoping the iron version had been possibly swapped out.

I am going to Rockton on Sunday so if you do grab it, I could stop by after the swap. Thanks Slim!
