rodding, my frame is solid under the motor however it gets real punky from the firewall back
I was thinking of doing an s-10 swap but did some looking and if I stay stock it looks to be a little less work
It's a lot of work to Clip it as well, lots of measuring to get it square. & as your 'rodding" it you "don't want the stock frt end under it!!!! I'd go with late model chassis & S-10 maybe the easy way as you can adj. the wheel base to fit by sliding frame rails!!! I used a 84 Cutlass chassis on the torpedo back, shortened in the middle of frame, but had to move the frt. whl. opening ahead 3" to get it to "look" right, any more out of frame & engine would have set back into fire wall!!! Do some measuring to get it RIGHT!!!
