Then I guess you had better go to SEMA !! They had a display last time we went showing exactly how the process was done.

 EH???

I thought it was your top secret project!!

Looks like too much of a pain in the ass for me. I'll stick with mugs

I had this done to the interior trim pieces of my Lexus. Went from brown burlwood to black burlwood.
It's tedious as hell. Alot of mistakes are made and pieces have to be re-done alot.
If anyone wants this done I know a few people to help them.

Could make for some pretty interesting mugs, no? Inside /outside all around carbon: fiber, realistic flames, granite/marble/stone look, tire tread, circuit board /wiring images, camo. Limited only by your imagination!

I've seen this process several years ago and wonder why it hasn't caught on sooner or become more mainstream?

not as drunk as you thinkle peep I am wrote:

wonder how tuff the stuff is for wheels though like how long does it really last. is it just a rubbery coating that wears over time or is it a paint of sorts? really cool though.

It's the same process they use to put "Camo" on 4X4 ATVs. It seems to hold out, and that's on plastic !!
