Welcome here to Ont.Rodders..you will find many rodders here you thought had disappeared, as well as many more talented, passionate and amazing rodders ..As per the usual with so many varied and passionate personality's some discussions can be lively.. On this board they have an off topic section for the animals to take their wars ( if you want to be included in that section you need to request that option I am not all that interested in pissing contests so I never bother) so most visual stuff is digestable with the odd piece of chineese food tossed in..Some really interesting builds and ideas , and some really varied talents that I am sure you will be interested in.. great to see you..
To the Ont Rodders John is a great guy ,I think many of you from the another board will all-ready know John from Oz another very talented and knowledgeable street rodder with a really nice 33 roadster from the out back..Johns only problem is he only knows about right hand drive rods.. and everything flows backwards I think John will lots of knowledge and fun to the conversations here..one more thing John is a real gentleman and I have never heard him say a bad word about anybody..So a big welcome to John..
Hey John good to see you on here!! This is your long lost son still waiting for my invitation to get back into auz mom said you where cantankerous but I know your a great guy. I'm being good, honest! I've been working in the oil patch and I need to warm up Just think we could go for a ride in your 34 and everything
Rochie, I know you are not a poofter but we can call each other that haha,
Fatchuck thanks for the intro, we have indeed had a breakfast together before.
Randy when you are ready come on down they are screeming for guys on the Oil Patch out here, mind you you would feel the difference and a big warm up but at least with low humidity you'll handle it, oil and gas are booming here right now., the only thing is I wont be driving the roadster until after the 9th of January ......... it has plenty of go at the moment but no stop, oh well that is another story, hahaha, mind you it was interesting for a minute, just as well I drove slowly home after I discoved that haha, mind you who need brakes eh.
Homer we spent a bit of talk time under a hotel in Victoria once while my washing (laundry) was being done . . now did I hole a light for you then hahaha. I tell you though it is hard walking around on my ands when I need to talk to you guys.
I wannagofast I have had a few Holdens but never again unless they are an older model. Holden are pulling out of Oz just as they made a big deal about selling cars to the U.S. for cop cars, what a funny old world we live in now days. Mind you I do drive a Falcon as my daily, I kind of like the 6 in a row 4.0 litre Ford engine OHC, try checking out the XR6 Turbos if you can on the internet under Ford Australia, mine is not a Turbo though but they had to detune them because the V8 guys were getting brassed off with being dustered by the 6 cyl's.
Fordy Acres, great to see you here, I sure like some of your rides mate.
As to you otehr guys tahnks for the welcome, it is kind of like catching up the a lot of old friends here and thanks to Fatchuck for the link here.
Glad to you stop in here John. I always look forward to your posts and comments..Hope you find it interesting enough to come by often..Have a great green Christmas....
