Hi all

 

I am looking for a supplier of low tension hood springs fro a project I am working on.

 

was wondering if anyone had a source - preferably by length than by application

Lot of the imports just use gas shocks on the hood like the rear door of a mini van pick and pull would be the best bet for cheap ones and size

ALL the prowler guys buy gas shocks from LST. Great Canadian company and there shocks are way superior to QEM stuff

A guy by me uses the spring from a an aluminum storm door for the hood springs on a glass hood on a vega . Or maybe try like princess auto or t s c . I,m pretty sure they have springs of all shapes an sizes , with long straight ends on them so you can mod them to fit your purpose ..77.
