I always loved loved St Thomas    

I ran there in the seventies and eighties..  

 last time there was 1993 when the "Super Chevy" event was run                                                                                                                                                                                Some Pro Stock Lebarons and a old Glidden pro stocker was there    

I used to be able to get there by 9:30 (I'm 50 miles north London)  

and get 12-20 passes before lunch    

Racing started at 1 and was over by 4  

always got home in good time...

 

Now I'm closer to Grand Bend   go there at 8am  get 2 passes and sit in 80-90 degree weather all day,(on open bleachers) and sometimes racing over at 8-9 at night    

what a waste of facilities      (ya I know..  buy a old trailer, and sit waiting in it, all day--  oh ya  no hydro  no a/c)

I'm coming to St Thomas this year…..       

Make sure you come and say Hi. Look for the pink headset
