I had totally given up on my son being into anything mechanical. He has a Trans-Am that he bought about 6 years ago. He started working on it, and as most of us know, these projects always seem to expand to much more than one would expect. He parked it in a friends shop and that is where it has been for the last 5 years.I suggested he sell it and he said no, he will finish it when he has time.
In the meantime, he started dating a girl who's family all ride motorcycles. Her brother gave him an old Honda CB360 he had laid down. It wasn't hurt too bad, so he has started to fix it up, with a cafe racer look. I asked him about the Trans-Am, and he said he is waiting till he has his own house, then he will bring it back and get going on it again.
Just like a cult ,we'll get them one at a time.If everyone of us converts one,and so on, and so on,there might just be a market for our old stuff yet. Ed
