Friend of mine is really good friends with him.
I was able to hang out when he was here a few times and he gave me an open invitation to see him so when in LA we went and spent the morning with him. He is a member of the Peterson Museum. He called and had us a private tour. We were able to see the Vault. An off limits to the public area of 200+ cars
We saw him last summer and he brought my son some items from Burbank for my boy and stuff for me.
He is getting up in age. Almost 90. His health isn't the greatest but he still going.
Sorry all the stuff we have are either personal gifts from him to us or stuff we had signed years ago.
Does he know me personally? No. I think at his age I'd have to jog his memory.
I have spent some time with him. He has lead an incredible life this far.
He is a very kind man.

I have a few Barris autographs including a copy of 1953 HOP UP with the Hirohata Merc on the cover that George signed a special comment to Bob Hirohata. I also got him to sign a copy of Rod & Restyling that had the Little Deuce coupe. I can make copies of the covers but keeping the originals. He even signed one of my old car club T shirts.
