I needed a 4L60E for my '94 Caprice wagon. They are hard to find.
Plus they are only those years specific. Computor changes every couple of years.
Good luck with it.

          I thought a 4L60E  was a tough as a 400 turbo       I have 3 trucks and 1 car with 4L60's

Apparently, weaker than a 4L80e.......They can be upgraded with better parts. I have one too, been OK so far

Mine is in a heavy Caprice wagon with the LT1 and I drive it hard.
I found a used one in Vancouver and it works great.

Did you flush the extra bits out of the cooling loop? How long has the replacement been in? Are you getting power to shift or is the truck in limp mode from a shorted 02 sensor  ?  you never really gave any details on why it needs to be replaced.

Sun gear ? Just wondered how long ago you installed it kenny gives 30 - 90 day exchange. If the bodys ok you will be further ahead just dropping in a rebuild kit and be done with it.

ya its past the 90 days, was my fault for not testing it after the install, was busy with work, etc that it screwed me in the long run. as for rebuilding ive been looking into it,
