Hey everyone....i'm looking for some old alloy deep dish slot mags , 15x10 , 15x8.5, 15x8, 5on5 bolt pattern but others might do if the price is right ! let me know what you have ! i'm based near Cobourg ....thanks chopp
....i'm building the car I always wanted as a kid ! that was in the 70's in the UK ! every thing was jacked up with 10x15's and posatraction torque twister tiers . Usually with white air shocks and slapper bars !
NO !!!! you can't scrap a classic custom wheel for a miserly 30 bucks !
Yes you can they were out of style in the 70's and the multi-fit are junk
the problem with multi fit is a lot of folks don't use the right lugnuts , try and jam too big ones in the slot , hand file out the slots to make wrong nuts fit , re drill them badly , use the wrong washers , file the hub centric holes out to make them fit......ect. A good unmolested pair with the correct lugnuts and washers are perfectly good ! I do agree ....given the choice of unilug or direct drilled i'd go for direct drilled every time . As for being out of style ....well , every classic American car ,hot rod , rat rod or lowrider Kustom is out of style according to the car buying consumers of today ! That's why we drive'm .....to be stylin' in whats out of style ! ha ha
the only ones that painted their gas tanks orange or lime green in my area were the Frenchman and jacked up cars with 6 bangers in them.
We had them here too young and foolish not French lol
and chopp666 go ahead and re-create it just be carefull
I had to comfort a lot of young guys who wrecked quarter panels and new tires when air shocks let go
BEE carefull
Hey 427'...i'm using ford Bronco truck springs on the rear, adjustable top four link bars to get back the correct pinion angle and axle snubbers on both sides to restrict up travel .....modern thinking for an old look !
