My bosses Ram pickup is sitting at work....wont go, tranny wont go into gear.....not the 1st time either. I was going to say to buy a GM, but thought better of it when I saw his mood.
If I followed Hemis instruction this is supposed to work..I have seen this problem on tons of those dodge Rams very common problem..easy fix about 2.5 hrs or less and a $5.00 part..I know it says A/C but it's the same problem it's a blend door that has a broken stripped gear for the blend door..

The recirc door can break and fall into where the blower motor is. If it does you end up full cold air entering the cab. If it happens you can take the fan out and reach up inside to set it back into position. I then take folded up cardboard and jam the door in place and closed. Temporary repair only.....
Nobody on here complaining of no heat from their ford
That's because they can't even get them started !
Guess again!! Just changed the battery in the old Ford 4X4. Primed the carb and put some fresh gas in the tank. Turned the key and she fired right up! Not bad for sitting for 3 or 4 years since the last time I fired it up and moved it.

I have honestly never had a heat issue in any of my Fords except one leaking heater core in an old '64 Galaxie - even my crappy old Bronco yard truck plow is nice and toasty to the point where I've got to turn it right off or open the windows or both, once I get plowing.

If i remember right the late model GM suburbans have a similar problem with ac doors sticking and blowing hot air in the summer. Doesn't mater what you buy they are all loaded with dollar store offshore crap tested by some dude that's never seen a real toilet and rides a bicycle .

I've bought a few Fords, as winter beaters, and I'd have to agree, that the heaters do work great in them, I'd go as far as saying that out of the "big three", they had that sector.
Having said this, the old Toyotas I bought for beaters were even better, and more reliable, with tons of miles on them.
