This is just cool ! A fellow gearhead (Wrenchbender from the DuckusCrapus and The HAMB, Poncho62 has probably read his threads) from another site I am on is part of this Bonneville Salt Flats racing team. They run a 1938 LaSalle with a 40's vintage Flat Head Cadillac engine. Their goal is to break 200 MPH ! They need your votes to win $125,000 in sponsorship money from Champion ! Once you sign up, you can vote once a day from any IP address. Here is the link to there submitted video and a link to the FLATCAD.org site to read their history/quest. Also, do a youtube search for FLATCAD racing and you can see some in car and outside video of there runs ! This things sounds SICK !

Bob....While this is an interesting team and car, this "contest" for sponsorship money is just another form of advertising on their part, along with Champion. You will probably notice that I deleted your post on HR.com, as they have a no advertising policy there. Leaving it here as I dont and it is an interesting effort

Sorry, didnt think of it as advertising, but I see the point. Hope it didn't offend any of my fellow gearheads. Just thought I try to help out a hot rodding cause.
