And so it begins,this is going to be fun.I am not really a Jr. fan but I did pick him because it is time he actually did something and stopped riding on a name. Same goes for a lot of the drivers. I didn't pick Johnston because I can't see NASCAR letting him win again. He doesn't seem to have the appeal of Petty and Earnhard . NASCAR needs some real characters to liven up what to me has become a dull series. What happened to personalities like Earnie Ervin,Darrel Waltrup,Earnhard Sr. Busch was interesting and so was Stewart till corprate NASCAR took there cohonies away. Hope this year is full of surprizes,interesting personalities,lots of different winners, some close finishes and a chase that goes down to the wire with several drivers needing to win the last race to win the championship. Ed

and the.....KY Car.....it will NEVER be "Tight" in the corners......always a little loose

King Richard Petty say's the only way Danica will ever win a race is if nobody else showed up

But also say's she is good for Nascar rating's 

 

The media knows that guys that shoot from the hip can't help themselves. They target guys like the King and form the question in such a way that they answer it honestly and they can't help that the honest answer might not be everyone's cup of tea. The King should have declined to answer IMO.

They did the same thing to old Phil on Duck Dynasty. They knew he wasn't in agreement with the whole gay scene, but they asked him anyway....and he answered them....honestly! Got himself in hot water because the media asked him his opinion and he merely told them. All this happens in a free country with freedom of speech - go figure!

One week until the 500 guys and gals....If you haven't got a team together yet, you better get at it. Have to be in my possession by noon next Sunday.
