Up for sale is an extremely clean 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 coupe.  I'm helping my neighbours sell this car because they are in their 80's and don't use the internet a lot.

The car is straight as an arrow (just look at the pictures) and boasts an all original interior.  All of the body panels, and underbody are completely rust free.  The car is in miles with around 88,000 on the odometer. It is currently stored inside their garage and can be seen by appointment.

-Bore block 030 over and hone block
-Deck block
-Grind crankshaft
-Reconditioned cylinder heads
-New guides
-Edelbrcok cam and lift kit #2122

Tune-up parts, etc ($2,000)

-2 new motor mounts

-New heater core
-New radiator
-Gas tank cleaned and repaired
-New radiator hoses
-New engine dipstick
-New transmission dipstick
-8 new spark plugs
-New voltage regulator
-New belts
-Drive shaft rebuilt
-New thermostat

MORE:
-Pertronix dist. and coil ($400)
-Ford air cleaner ($200)
-Auto meter gauge ($150)
-Blue wires ($100)
-Roof rail seals ($425)
-Seat belts ($100)

The gentleman has boxes full of original parts that are included with the car.  It had it's paint job back in 1996 with a high gloss finish that still looks great. The photos have not been touched up in any way and many more are available if needed.

I'm thinking it was a POS before someone did all the work.
Rebuilt engine and 8 new spark plugs. Does someone put used plugs in a rebuilt engine.
Beware......

I'm still trying to figure out the "1 new headlight door" part?? Plus why did they leave the generator in there and not convert it over to an alternator? "the gentleman has boxes full of the original parts" another red flag. Wonder how hot the fuel gets between the fuel pump and the carb?? Running under the thermostat housing and up under the coil? Would have been better to run it the way the factory did it.

Curious , is that 88,000 K or miles ?...seems that the ad says K while the description says miles .

The text in the ad says it is in miles and the odometer reads 88,000. From what I know, the kilometers in the data box can't be edited to show miles.

All vehicle ads on kijiji use km. kijiji will not allow you to leave the mileage blank, nor does it give the option of listing it as kilometers or in miles.

You are correct sir - multiply by 8, divide by 5. ....gets you real close.
