I would suggest....1 1/4".....the cooling works great and......you get more volume....

Figure out how many feet of 1 1/4" line you need post it here and you will be flooded with answers as to how

much fluid you will gain.

uuuhhhh......wait.........no.........duh......wrong post

please ignore......go back to what you were doing.

Thanks guys and gal! I'm really trying to do SOMETHING every night no matter how little. It's funny how you cut , fab and weld a piece on and you realize NOW i have to make more pieces to go along with or support that piece I just put on! When does it END! I don't think I was good at cut and paste, I was more of play doh ,pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks kid!

Sorry for the bad pics! They are of the drivers side pillar/door except for last one. The fourth pic is inside under cowl looking up towards dash corner, kinda sorta ! It's a good thing that old metal is thick! I have to contend with the lead on the cowl where the A pillar was attached. This where I'm at!

Pretty cool!

A few questions. Will this be removable a item? Also, how far did you want to lay the windshield back to flow into the Carson/removable roof? The reason I'm asking is that I'm curious if you'd be against having the pillar flow through the top front door area(the area cut away in the top photo)? Doing this would help in increasing the surface area supporting the pillar.

I plan on making the pillars/windshield a fixed item on the car. The roof/tops to be removable. Light steel framed fabric covered carson top and a steel removable "coupe" roof. I'm thinking between 8 and 12 degrees lean back on windshield. The only problem with any tilt or lean back is the different planes of the glass and the arch or curve of the cowl and how to mate them and look ok! A Duval style frame would be cure that problem but it might not look right with the coupe roof/hard top on !?! AAAGGHH!!!

Hi Nino, it was great meeting you this weekend, that is going to be a great looking ride, I'd love to come see it sometime.

Maybe once I'm done the truck I can build something like that, I'm also a fan of that era.

I'm on it! I'm making the weld plate for the level sending unit, extend my weld filler neck bung, bend up a pickup tube and need to pick up one more weld bung for a drain. I also want to install a mesh/screen over the end of tube. Going to try a rad/tank shop.
