Well I guess Im kinda jumping into rat rod's full bore. a couple weekends ago I traded my broken 1990 mustang GT for a 1950 Dodge/ Fargo my mustang had a broken frame rail and 303,000km and was worn out in the chassis and suspension deparment, but its going to a high school teacher and his students will have fun with it. it came with a mustang 2 crossmember and a 4 link setup for the rear and has ls v8 engine mounts and much of the frame is already boxed in and in real nice shape. I do have a friend how has a 01 5.3 (lm7 i believe) iron block engine with 500 or so km it's like new but it's been sitting in his garage on a stand for 6 years it comes with a ecu so Im going to keep it efi its cheaper that way I want to try and run a t-5 trans t-56 are real pricey I wont be modding the engine. I have ALOT of work ahead of me and I bet theirs not alot of 23 year old rat rodders around. it does have a bunch of stuff in the bed, hood doors and some other goodies.
My friend tom who lent me his truck.
(ya this pic is sorta bad)
my mustang I traded.
mustang's final home in the high school

Welcome aboard. Great looking project and it sounds like you have been planning ahead,...way to go, and all the best of luck with the build,..it'll look great !!
Welcome from North Bay, great Dodge/Fargo project, getting the frame is a real bonus.
and it has no rust plus it's already been 3/4 or so boxed in so far.
Theirs some thing that got me slightly stumped how to do. it currently has part of the firewall Im thinking I cut the firewall out of a junkyard vehicle they I take the pedal assembly from.

I'd rather be in the garage! I'm old school, I use the "inches" side of the measuring tape!
I have the stamped OEM upper and lower a-arms.
If I were you I'd look for a set of strut rod eliminator a-arms, if I remember correctly there was a guy on Canadian Rodder asking $250 for the set.
