Wife hit black ice. Then a passing transport truck.

Truck broke an axle and two wheels.

This in our 2002 325ix wagon.

Wife broke ankle and collarbone.

Car did its job. Saved her hind end.

Saved by a 76 BMW when I was 8. Landed on the roof after falling 8 feet.

Never mind the other crashed from people in our car clubs over the years.

Glad I gave her the best car that day.

Glad she came out of it ok too.

Been a week already! She's doing not bad, now here comes the part where the bones start to knit and heal and the bruises and
soft tissue hurt. Coulda been much worse, so thankful we're all good.

I have a 1971 2800CS that My dad bought brand new,It has been a great car,His first BMW was a 1966 that was destroyed in a accedent in 1970 that if it wasn't for the solid build of that car he wouldn't have been able to buy the 1971. Sadly I have to sell the 1971 2800CS, cause he has stopped driving and we are moving and have no room for it.I learned to drive in this car in 1977 when I got My licence.Hope it goes to a good home, { will be auctioned off at My sale in May} The last BMW we had was a 2008 328 2 dr coupe fantastic car/ Glad to hear everyone is O.K.

Private message me. I'm on a few forums, and email lists etc. Might be able to give you a wide audience for that CS.

I have a 1976 BMW 2002, and a 1991 M5 as well. Would have many more if it wasn't for space.
