this video shows gems being cut, as most of you know gems come from the earth looking like hunks of glass with no shape or definable form, I have always been intrigued by cut gems as the video will show their beauty and clarity.

notice how they have both eyes open looking through the eye pc. ? i'll try to remember that this november, not likely though. lol that last stone was beautiful.

Great video Fastax!! Very interesting, some very specialized equipment and fixtures shown there.
I have a number of friends employed at the De Beers diamond mine up at Attawapaskat, supposed to be very high grade of diamonds comming from up there.
Neat stuff, thanks for posting this.

Brings back some memories.
I worked for a gem stone cutters years ago. He did all the high end gems in his workshop and myself with another employee cut the ordinary gem stones in another area.
Nether of us were allowed in his workshop. Back then he was knows as one of the best cutters in town.

Great experience.
