we have all heard the adage, out of site-out of mind. recently looking at some pic's i came across this little item that i really had forgot about. i ended up with it on a 3 way horse trade, lol. when i showed up here at the house with it the other half says no way she is looking at that thing all the time so it has been out back at a buddys place for 3 years. some people are funny like that, lol.
if there is any interest i will get the poop on it, but it will be up to its gunwalls in snow and take a bit. it is obviously a low mileage L-T engine and it ran fine when parked. truthfully that is about all i remember of it. lets start at 2000.00 and go from there.

Ya 58, gunnwalls, isn;t that some kind of boating term .Maybe he is selling the SS Minnow or something like that.Come on Shag enqueiring minds want to know.Is there a prize if we guess the mysterious object thats for sale. Ed
Ah,good one Scott ,the evidence is piling up.I always thought those things on the roof of a hearse were called Lando Irons but maybe that is what Shag is calling gunnwales. Ed
The proper term would be gunwales unless referring to some type of fort or castle. doesn't really matter if your riding in that ugly pig
Thegunwale(/ˈɡənəl/) is the top edge of the side of aboat.[1]
Originally the gunwale was the "gunridge" on a sailingwarship. This represented the strengthening wale or structural band added to the design of the ship, at and above the level of agun deck. It was designed to accommodate the stresses imposed by the use of artillery.
Thanks Slim, next time I'm down at the Yacht club with Biff and the Admiral ,I will finally have something to add to the conversation. You make a good point, though, it is interesting where words originate and how they evolve over the years. Ed
gunnels.....
If I was closer, I would be all over that "station wagon"
I have a '94 Caprice wagon with the LT1. A million kilometres on it and going strong.

thanks scott. like i said i forgot about it till i was trolling some pics and there it was. the re-deal for the thing didn't happen last summer so it will be still sitting there with snow up to the "door handles" probably. its a caddy but the ownership is in the glove box so the year is a guess right now. i don't know how i screwed up the pic with the ooops thread, sorry, and like i said, if there is any interest i will get the poop on it.
on a side note i was one of two executors for moms passing and i asked the parlor, in peterborough, if i used my own hearse it should delete their rental charge. brother sh!t his pants not knowing i had one. we had a laugh as no one had asked him that before. shootin the poop i mentioned the roll-out carrier in the back and he said that was an expensive option. i tried to barter the roller to him for a discount but no deal. mom would of been proud as a pea**** going in her own family hearse. rip-mom.
anyway, there's the skinny on it and if someone thinks they might want one, your covered. the 63 chryco, 67f truck and the speed boat are still for sale also. just trying to clean up some stuff before its my turn for a one-way ride. have at errr!
