Some good driving and a lot of luck. The chute deploying without being damaged, pulls the car back in line and some seriously strong headers keep him from rolling. Amazing what ever way you look at it .

I noticed that too! If it wasn't for the 'outriggers' he'd be rollin', rollin' rollin'!!! Turns out zoomies are good for more than just makin' music!!!!

Notice in the actual footage how fast that happened from the time the engine blew, untill he had it back heading over into the correct lane again.

The slow motion footage actually shows the nose on the pavement with all 4 wheels off the ground.
Luck for sure, but still very talented guy.
Forgot to mention that they blew the engine the day before and lost that body,, then wrenched all night, and installed the orange body, (The one in the video,), the day before they won that race even though they blew the engine, as the competitors car blew first!!!
