Both issues of getting stuck and breakdowns were weather related. Last month when my van wouldn't start, it was because I was pushing snow over the bumper, into the grill and all up under while leaving the driveway to go to work . Everything was good until I shut it off - windchill that night was -39C. The warm engine caused condensation in the bendix drive of the starter which of course froze over night(I work mid night shift). In the morning, the starter was spinning but not engaging the flex plate. With a little heat from the paint stripper gun and it hasn't given any more trouble. $0.00 spent, didn't even turn a wrench!. I never got my van stuck. Yesterday's issue was my daughter, very stuck. I actually mentioned how impressed I was at how far she made it, almost to the end of the drive. A Hummer would have had a challenge making it through that much snow! Her breakdown was snow jammed into the pulleys, grill/rad - everything really. Got it into the shop, removed most of the snow, thawed the rest and freed up the pulley tensioner. $0.00 spent. The plow worked great yesterday, but last month the 4 wheel drive wouldn't work because of poorly designed automatic hubs - they don't work at nearly 40 below, but when it warmed up to -20 they worked fine....well, they worked as well as they were designed to. Once again, $0.00 spent.
The moral of the story is: My driveway is a car killer in the winter!
And like JPB said: "They all have their goods and bads"
Was my Chevy a good car? Sure it was. Would I trade any of my Fords for it? No.

LMAO,...if I would have had that a year or so ago,..the model A wouldn't look like it does today,...wait a minute,..the Model A does look like I had that thing a year or so ago,.......:>)
I currently own a dodge, chevy and a ford truck. Over the years I've owned a variety. I lost count at 23 different cars/trucks ect. Of those 1 was a Toyota and one was a mazda.
They all have there good/bad. Lots were fun. Some were reliable work horses. A few were sh*t shows.
Best one I have owned to date bar none is my Ford expedition. I would definitely buy another. But I do think its comes down to maintenance and luck.
I have owned many different brands over the years. They all have one thing in common and that is when they are running they were all good until they broke. Then they all become a P.O.S ...lol
Unbelivable game.I got caught up in the game today and ended up late for a service call and when I got there I appoligized to the customer saying I was running late. He replied Hell of a game eh. Ed
