1954 Chevy 4 door Sedan trim clips and signal lights

My neighbour has a 1954 Chevy 4 door Sedan and he is looking for signal light pods and bulbs (6 volt).  He has been told that no one re pops these.

 He is also looking for side trim clips.  These seem to be in short supply and thus expensive when they can be found.

Is there some reason why parts are hard to find for this car?  Does anyone have a good source for either of these items?

Antique Chevrolet Parts- 1 866 767 2787  he should ask for park lamp  because that is what they use for turn signal carquest or nappa should be able to supply 6 volt bulbs as well as any tractor supply. A C P have an online catalog but if you don't see it call they can usually get it
