With so many members stating that driving a rod is half the fun of ownership then maybe we should be planning a drive to event for this year. There are lots of events happening within a days drive for most of us, maybe we should pick one and make it happen. I'll throw out the NSRA street rod meet in Sept in Burlington, VT, still nice weather, not stinking hot, good roads and scenery, smaller event than some-1500 cars.
Are you saying we can't talk about or go to events in the US anymore? There were probably more Canadians at Syracuse this year then Americans (US). I personally attend events all over Ontario, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York on a regular basis and see many guys from Ontario there. People who can't cross the border will just have to deal with that. We can still have tour/cruises in Ontario. A great one that comes to mind is the Tyrod's Fall Cruise out of Cambridge.
