29-30 ford my dad had I remember the doors would sag down whenever he would open.as I grew up?I came to know about the wood in the body.I was probably4-5 years old around 1949 -50 he did not drive much.he probably quit driving just around that time never had a car after that time drove convoy during the war.they called it shell shock at that time.around 1958 he had a motorcycle cant tell you what it was.I really loved riding on back not near the traffic of today.the feeling of freedom on the road good times.like most I am sure wish I could go back different time different world

In 2000 ( I was 22 ) I bought a 1933 dodge 4 door sedan.
Me and my brother in law took it for a drive,
We were squashed in the front like a couple sardines.
the old girl spat and sputtered and bounced all over,
Man I loved it, about a 3 km drive only.
came back from the drive, parked it, and started tearing it apart.
:(

I used to live near 400 Auto Wreckers in Holland Landing, Tom [one of the owners of 400] used to drop into my place once in a while to see
what cars I was working on. One day he drove up in his fully restored 1912 Brass Era Ford and said "Let's go for a ride!". No convincing necessary!
What a hoot!!
