Nice to see such an awesome ride win the Riddler. Kudos to the build team. Now it would be nice to see it rolling hard this summer. I would almost bet it will do the show circuit before that happens though.
That 10K probably doesn't start to cover shipping from BC much less buy parts or pay the labour of the build. He lost his shirt on the Chrysler wagon, which again should have won. I'm sure he will do the show circuit and again end up at B-J. Maybe this time they can recoup costs. It is great having Canadians represent our car culture on the big stage and in the basement but unfortunately mid BC is not like downtown LA. The dollars have to come from somewhere. Congratulations to all who represented us so well in Detroit.
Well, here's two things,
Man, the chatter about the Detroit Autorama and the Ridler Award is almost non-existent….guess an American should have won and secondly I don't think 10 large will put much of a dent in 20,000 man hours. The only thing that will pay off for J.F. is getting work because of the win.
