Had a great time.....and the ELTA cars were fantastic!

Did anybody win any hardware?

ELTA? Sherwood? Scott?

If so who....and for what......and post pictures............PLEASE!

I heard Sherwood (Dubya) won best hot rod in the basement. Maybe he'll chime up and confirm this.

Detroit Autorama 003.JPGThe boys at the ELTA won second place for club displays, Mark almost got the first place trophy. I got the award for The pros picks on on Saturday, (Fultons Favorite) by Roush racings chairman, and the Best Hot Rod on Sunday.

CONGRATS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told you so......I had a good look at ALL the cars in the basement...(As This was where I spent most of my time)

And......outside of those 2 28's from down south and that awesome pick up....you were "DA MAN"

Had a great time with you Sherwood and looking for more....You will have to move to the "Center of the Car universe"

Way to go Sherwood!! Good for you for getting another Canadian win!! A true testament to your design and fabricating skills. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
Anyone who has seen this hot rod in person, and the work that Sherwood did on it himself, knows these awards were well deserved!

Also, congratulations to Mark and the rest of the ELTA gang, true hot rodders in the purest sense of the word! The Best Ambassadors the hobby could ask for!!

Yeah, It was pretty obvious to me too! I can't remember who it was that asked me ....Grumps, Hemi, Chris.... , but anyway we were standing right next to Sherwood's car and I just pivoted and pointed to the nicest A Sedan I think I've ever seen! VERY WELL DESERVED!!!

Well done Sherwood and also, well done ELTA. I think we where all winners. It was a fantastic weekend that will be unmatched for years to come. Thanks to all the gang I had the privlidge to hang with in Detroit and for all the many friends, new and old that spent time with us. Still reeling over the weekend.smile

We should all be wearing that rash...I think just about every one of us got their picture taken with Rabbit! Some more than once! I know I did biggrin
