HI ALL, should be arriving in the next few weeks, looking to aquire a r.v. & trailer for weekend trip,s to the strip is there anything up for grab,s pretty local tobrantford area. cheers jonny, carol.
You can always find some big cheap RV's for $3 to 10K. Hell, I see them sitting for sale for ages. Like older big 5th wheel campers, you cant give them away.
I'll take as many fifth wheel trailers as you can send em.I am looking for an old to salvage the chassis from.. Thinking car trailer that nobody will ask to borrow....

no doubt. But, there's a diamond in that rough.
Solution;
Buy cheap
Drive to farm
Park axles in deep puddle
douse interior in fuel and combustables
toss match inside
make marshmallows, drink beer
in the morning hook up TV and pull from puddle
look at your fresh canvas and buld from there

Not a 5th wheel, but I built this one from a house trailer. A bit narrow, but a car does just fit on. I didnt use the beer and marshmallow method.
I am selling My 2010 21' trailer,it is rated for 10000 lbs,it will carry 6400lbs.I had it custom made in N.C.,Never seen winter,I just bought a 28' Enclosed,so I don't need this one anymore.Check out My auction on May 31st www.keithmonkauctins.com
Another Ford, this one from Barrie. He's asking $3500, but offer $3200, which is only $100 per foot - yeah it's a monster at 32 feet long, but it's got the big block 460 to pull it!
Just bear in mind ( because we see this ju....er , lovely motor homes/trailers all the time ) the seller doesn't say to his wife ...."snookums , I think I'll fix all the problems , A/C ,furnace , propane , electrical , mouse poop , mold , more mold , even more mold , drivetrain , brakes , tires , ...name something else ( WATER LEAKS !!!! ) and then I'll sell it for $3500 . " Keep your wallet handy and full !

still pretty chilly at nights, and the seller says nothing works..no furnace, stove, fridge, or water...
We're friggin Hot Rodders, Chuk !! How difficult could it be to fix all that?? Is anything ever broken beyond repair?? Bet we could fix everything in one night and still have time to share a case of beer !!
I agree Dan..but if I just got off the boat in a new Country and only had my swiss army knife and didn't have a clue where to grab the junk I needed ..I MIGHT feel intimidated..
But hey Johnny Z, if you find something that needs a little work and your up to it I have a shop not far out of london that you could park and work on it for a day or so if you needed it My shop is not big enough to get it inside but I have tools and sources..

Teejay and Fatchuk have it right regarding that pile of parts in Barrie. You may fix the furnace, stove, and fridge in one night, but you won't fix the real problems that quickly. If Johnny Z buys it, I guarantee his Lady won't be staying in it! The tires, motor, and transmission are probably the only good things about it!
One of the truly amazing things I see where I work , ........our dealer will offer to thoroughly inspect an RV ( on a private sale ) for $100.00 before the deal is finalized .......number of "takers" in a given year ? One-zies and Two-zies ....... but we see lots of RV's AFTER the private sale at $90/hr to repair all the defects/problems that the "expert" buyer has missed . We make LOTS of money this way !
