I saw the SCAM alert just a little to late ......to bad for me but I just wanted to let everyone to know that Chad and Sandy at CAT RESTORATIONS in BC do not tell the truth when asked direst questions about the condition of the car.............just for 1 example I asked about the interior of the car I was thinking of purchasing, the pictures that I saw mad it look pretty good, but I asked anyway. Chad said it was new. when I got it the interior was not new maybe he was referring to the tape holding the seat together, it was new. So you can imagine the rest of the car. I sold it to my body guy for about 1/3 of what I paid for the car. I took my loss and now I will go on to something else life is to short. One other problem is he did not even send an ownership that was in his name, therefore as far as Ontario MOT goes he did not have the right to sell it. Also he is not a dealer in BC
There was a post on here not to long ago about the same asshats i also posted it to canadian rodder just to get the word out . they are well know as a couple rip off artist but no one seems to care . They are operating in bc illegally and not changing the ownership makes it impossible to track what they sell . Lets hope they rip off the wrong guy one day and they find them with a bullet in the head no one is going to care about that too.
They've had a bad reputation for years. They used to advertise in the Old Auto Trader. A lot of misrepresentation, from what I've read. I think their biggest catch, is their shipping fees to Ontario.
The body looks fairly solid on the Cougar. '67 or '68, small block?
The mounds under the vinyl top, sure would've P'd me off.

while were bitichin, watch out for nor-am body parts. i ordered 2 new rear lower 1/4 patch panels full length for the galaxie and what i got was pretty much junk. all i needed was 6 to 8" from the back of each wheel well about 6-7" high. the whole curvature of the wheel well was just nipped and tucked by hand. we cut out what we needed from each panel and formed it by hand. my fault for not asking enough ??'s. live and learn. anybody need lower patch panels from the rear wheel wells forward i have em.
