Greetings from Niagara Falls. Canada

New guy chiming in from Niagara. Been a rodder all my life. My current rides are a 96 LT1 Formula Trans Am, Air Research heads, warmed up cam by Comp Cams, and computer has been tweaked. Goes good. My second ride which is still in a state of construction, is a 32 Ford, scratch built from frame up. Fiberglass sedan delivery body, mustang II front end, early Chev 292 HD truck motor(yes an 6 inliner) with lumped port head, street/strip cam, .080" overbore & flat top pistons, home made intake manifolds of 2" stainless tubing topped with three 2 barrel Weber 32mm downdraft carbs. Taken me a while to finish this one, I am not as fast at building as I used to be, sucks to be 67. Hope this one is ready for the street this summer.

Previous rides included, a souped up '49 Ford. A scratch built rat rod with a ladder frame, truck cab, custom flat bed with wood planks, caddy rear end , suicide front end, three speed standard and 409 power. A '65 MGB stuffed with '68 Z28 302 cid Camaro engine, muncie 4 speed, and  shortened 12 bolt rear(topped it off with a pair of '67 Corvette side pipes(with thanks to Jack Dow for his efforts)). I have had fun.

Here the A&W on Lundy's Lane used to be the place to meet on Fri. night, now its the new A&W on Thorold Stone Rd. Some things never change, except maybe the car hops, they arent prowling the drive thru lots any more.

Met Kay Sissel years ago at the nationals, an interesting guy, always thinking outside the box.

Thanks to all for the welcome. I will try to be a help here on the forum. Its great to have a Canadian forum where the views and needs will be similar. My peeves are the lack of wrecking yards that have older parts, and the high cost of parts here in Canada. I avoid the soap box so I'll try not to get cranked up about any particular subject.
So... happy rodding!
