I've been wanting to go to this for the past couple of years. I may actually be able to make this time, but the kids will be tagging along. Hey, they can carry my camera gear!
Was down there all afternoon helping the ELTA brothers move in...lots of cool drag cars down there with more to show up after we left. Its not a big show and if you only have a couple hours to spare you won't get in trouble with the family unit. Show up after 9am...beer and food available on site.

well carol & i went to our first gig, loved it, what a great venue for a show, " we loved it " the plane,s and other stuff was just the icing on the cake for us. met up with fordy & the e.l.t.a. crew. met some o.n.d.r. guy,s. made both carol & myself feel wright at home already. roll on the summer. thank,s again guy,s/gal,s cheers jonny, carol.
A few pics from the show - the "aerial pics" seemed very fitting for this venue, some of them planes is big! I extended the boom on "The Stick" and got some "Caulk"pit shots of some of the aircraft that were 12' off the ground!!!
But, first the gear had to be loaded up on Saturday - a few shots from ELTA Headquarters:
Wayner showed up in his "New Look" Roadster!!
Mark showed up in his "New Look" 'blown' Sedan!!
......wearing his "New Look" fire suit!!!
Jamie's Falcon was lookin' clean and mean:
Sam and Shaggin' were staged for a "hammer drop"....
...before getting loaded on the trailer.
Stay tuned for some shots from the actual show!

Great pictures as usual Steve......you'd the man with that new high tech "Camera in the sky" attachment......lol........it was another good time by all.........thanks!
Great pics Steve. Thanks to all the ELTA brothers for all your work you have done again to make a great show. I really enjoyed the two days at the museum.
Thank you to everyone who took pictures and were kind enough to share. I was there for the first show and by the pictures it looks like the show is increasing in size and quality.
Some great looking cars and lots of memories.
Will, There was more cars than two years ago but fewer planes on the show floor. Still made for a great venue. Lots of room for veiwing and photos dispite a steady flow of people. Quality of cars was really good too. Some right out of the shop yet to hit the strip.
Dad was fortunate to walk away with the Val Potter Memorial "Peoples Choice" Award for the "Charlie Horse"
Great pics guys! It was a good show, I took the kids and on the way told them that we were going on a history field trip to learn about drag racing and war planes. They were a bit confused by the comment, but had a good time there. A big thanks to the ELTA guys who took the time and talked to the kids, let them sit in the cars. It's a good thing it was an indoor show, because in this pic it looks like my daughter was staged and ready to launch. If we were outside she may have just fired that hemi up!

Very well deserved. Good to see Charlie still hanging around the drag race scene.
