A piece of history
l.jpg

It all started in 1939, at Frank's restaurant in South Porcupine, Ontario (near Timmins). Margret came in to buy a Coke (5 cents at the time) and it was a match made in heaven. In 1965 they moved to Willowdale when Frank bought the Golden Star Drive-in and the rest is history.

Ya, that's too bad. The old man always had that greeting shpiel that was funny. I used to hang there every once in a while. It was close to Thornhill high.

the harveys on eglinton ave in T O around markham rd is gone, so is the marvin Starr GM dealership that was behind it.  Might be condos now,  have not been in that area for a while.

I used to hang out there from 70's to late 80's, black 35 chev coupe with flames.

Geez, I didn't believe you, so I Googled mapped it. Must be fairly new, because the "satellite" view still shows the dealership, but "street" view shows Walmart. I bought my first truck there.
