Only 20 years old but a rare one. I have the very first v10 ram ever ordered from Chrysler (VP Chrysler Canada told me that in a phone call between build and delivery.) I waited almost 8 months between order date and delivery. Has been a great truck but I no longer need it or use it. Havent driven it since may 29 /13 when I took it for its smog test (passed with ease)) It isn't mint but it isn't full of holes either. I hate to part it it but it bothers me to see it just sitting. Had a lot of fun with it . Runs a 15.80 1/4 mile. Gets between 18.5 and 20.5 hiway Miles per gallon, far better then its smaller cousins. It still has the under hood sticker with the TON tag showing its designated ......001. I would like to get at least $1500 for it as it sits. Is that too low or what. Selling stuff is not my strong suit.

I had a 94 ram dually V10. Awesome truck that changed me from a chevy guy to mopar. Lee Iacoca was responsible for that totally re-designed truck with a viper style engine.
Not up to date on Dodge trucke but , isn,t $1500. a bit light.
WAY light! You can hardly get a beater pickup for $1500.
My thoughts on selling cars is ask lots and let them beat you down and you end up with what you want. Ask too little and they still try to beat you down.
I just did a quick look on kijiji for similar trucks not too many a 97 2500 with 91000km asking $2500 but looks pretty rusty, a nicer 95 3500 single rear tire 78000km asking $7000, and a 95 dually 244000 $5500. I figure that'll give you a good idea. I ask a lot more.

Why not contact Ralph Gilles at Chryco. Maybe they'll want it for their collection. It could have historical signifigance if it truly is the first one produced.

There's a member here that's an auto appraiser. May want to ask him !
I think they call that sss disturbing LMAO
Me? Never!
I am sorry for that comment I dont know why I would think that of a person such as yourself.on second thought it would be out of character for you to resist.ROFLMAO
They should know where it is. It was them that told me that before the truck was delivered.
Here is what happened. I was teaching prov trade (Engines electrical and fuels)school at the time and read in the auto manufacturing industry paper we got at the college that they were planning to build them in 94. That august I began at my wifes urging to try and order one. It was mentioned in the brocheres bit dealers knew zip about it. One dealer who also sponsored my race car (Getting Vicious 74 Charger) said if I would lay some gold down they would try an order and so I did. Next morning the sales manager Russ phoned and told me my truck was ordered and would be built on or about Feb 25. That was a long wait. About feb 27 or so I got a phone call to come to the dealer for a conference call to Chrysler Canada. They called and handed me the phone. The fellow on the other end Id himself and said he was VP of sales Chrysler Canada. He said your truck is built but there is a problem. Because V10 is not a normal designation they have to send a engineer to the border as does Environment Canada and they do a line by line Type acceptance on the vehicle. He said they would not nor would EV Canada for one vehicle. They needed at least a car carrier full or at least 5 units to do it. Understandable but frustrating. He said they want me to absolutely promise I would not cancel my order despite the delay. I asked for how long. He said it looked like 30 days would take care of it as they had some more orders now. I agreed, it was already 7 months so one more wouldn't kill me. Just before he hung up I he said this to me "By the way mr Dulmage. Your V10 Ram is the very first V10 ram ever ordered from Chrysler." (So it isn't something I claim. It is simply what Chrylser told me) When it came (mar 25 and was in the local newspaper) it had west coast mirrors . I had said chrome mirrors thinking chrome sport mirrors. It really ticked me off but before I shot my mouth off I opened the hood and checked the sticker. Sure enuf. It read TON 00685001 so I swallowed my pride and kept it. Has been a wonderful truck. I got permission from my dealer to make a limited drag strip presence. (A couple of runs is ok. Every weekend? No) Smoked Arnie Malcolms hot 454 SS Chevy with it that summer. Have pics and I may still have the time slip. 15.86 @ 86 MPH
Truck has approx. 285000 Km on it. IT has been on mobil one since second oil change. It is showing its age but I have seen a lot worse.
Truck is what I call a road runner truck. V10, radio limited slip two wheel drive. Rubber floor mats and plain interior. I took it for its Smog test end of may but never drove it since. I just don't need it now at this age. I used to haul my dragster in the back but I made a vintage trailer and now haul with my 63 Max Wedge Dodge. It isn't right to be just sitting there. Needs a battery. I either have to fix it or sell it to someone who will. I wont be beat down. My square head (Dulmage is really Dolmetsch ) wont allow it. Some one emailed for a PM but my computer swallowed it. phone me 613 9698145.

I've got my doubts that there is. Where I see the value in this truck is in the sum of its parts as a working truck. Even if it's body is close to toast, the capable driveline is desirable for working/towing. They were rated at 305hp / 450lbs tq.

They told you that 20 years ago. Ralph was probably still in highschool 20 years ago. Just suggesting they might be interested in it. Not interested enough to actively search for it but interested if it was brought to their attention. The fact that it's a one-owner speaks well of their product too. I don't think it being a truck is the interesting part, it's connection to the Viper could be though.
