Damage is estimated at $100,000 dollars in a garage fire in Seaforth this week.
It was just after 8pm Monday when the Seaforth Fire Department and Huron County OPP officers responded to a 911 fire call on James St.
Firefighters were able to contain the spread of the fire, but three vintage vehicles inside the garage, a 1968 Mustang, a 1952 Mercury and a 1930 Model A Ford, sustained extensive smoke and fire damage.
That totally sucks....likely worse due to volunteer fire response times (not a slight to volunteer firefighters...comment based on longer response times)
When you live in a rural community, big assed fire extinguishers and safe flammables storage is very important

And always keep your garden hose ready to go. It is no good to you if you left it outside to freeze (like I always did).
