Built this car for a good buddy a few years ago and the car and trailer were stolen last weekend from New Liskeard Ontario. Blue paint, suicide doors with white interior. If spotted please contact me on this post.
Re: Stolen last weekend:
It's probably stripped by now, with a week gone by, bet it is a number of miles from Liskeard.
Small block Chev one four barrel ? or any identifying engine parts/acessories?

Nothing out of the ordinary, 350/350 combo. Block hugger header, edelbrock 4 barrel, valve covers and breather.
what s with the idea of Quebec ......are you trying to say you have to be french to be a thief . thanks a lot
That's not what we're saying. Most stolen cars go to Quebec, because the laws there are different somehow that enables re-registration. This happens a lot to cars that have been branded here in Ontario. They get repaired in Quebec, and come back to Ontario not branded anymore.
Same here, whenever a chevy go's missing everybody says it probably gone to the rez,but there is a lot of other bandits out there,,including owners,,think insurance,,just sayin,,,

Really! That's where they go?
Most cars branded in Ontario, are repaired in Ontario, and re-sold in Ontario. You ever watch W5?
I lived in Ottawa for a few years, and best of my knowledge, vehicle certification and registration laws aren't that much different in Quebec.
I'm not a pro Quebec guy, but your statement is a bit of a stretch. The last few stolen cars and trailers I've heard of, that disappeared in Ontario, were recovered in Ontario.
But... New Liskeard is kinda really close to the border.
New Liskeard is close to the border but Hull is just a bridge away from Ottawa can t be any closer than that
i don t think it matter where in Quebec you won t get a car registered if it is stolen........... but if you still cars you don t really care about laws anyway and you ll get it registered anywhere no matter which province

Exactly, and Liskeard located where it is,, there are lots of bush roads leading through that area that would take it out of the area instead of driving it south into more populated areas and more cops.
I have nothing against french people , have a number of french friends, great families , good hard working people.
