I just changed the soft top on the tonneau cover on my truck after the branches turned it into a shish kebob during the winter.
Has anyone found a cleaner that can help keep it looking good?
The sun really beats the snot out of the vinyl.
I just saw something yesterday about the same thing and they tested Maguires, and it kept the black for , i believe 45 days. There were a couple of others that they tested that lasted about 75 days but i can,t remember the names. I,m old you know. Names are not my strong point. I do remember they priced out in the $20.00 range, which isn,t bad.

Thanks. 75 days between cleanings/refreshing sound good.
Now, I just need to figure out which product it is.

Have been racking my overworked brain trying to figure out where i saw it. Have a headache.. It was CTV news Pat Foran report.
Should be the same as convertible top cleaner/treatment.
If you go to eshine.ca and look around they have a good assortment of stuff. I buy most of my detailing stuff from there. Good prices and fast shipping.

I've used Meguiars "Rubber and Vinyl" cleaner and conditioner for years, it's their commercial line so don't look for it at Canadian Tire but any good parts store can get it for you.
Many boat manufacturers recommend a product: "303 Aerospace Protectant". I use it on my boat vinyl, and with 10 years
of exposure to the elements, it still looks like new. Most marine supply stores have it. It goes a very long way, so a bottle should do you for several seasons. Just wipe on / off every month or so.

Memory is not what it used to be but I think I found 303 at Wallymart. Used it on my Donzi and yes it really does work well, upholstery and the fiberglass itself . Never tried it on tires but I just may do that.
