Dark clouds, wind gusts, lost the satellite for a few minutes, some heavy rain (maybe 10mins.).
It's all done now, back to regular, grey skies.
I really need to try and remember on the next nice day, to Rainex the dish, it mostly helps in the winter, stops the snow from sticking to it, but it does make a bit of difference when it rains also.

Us old guys use Rainex On our slippers! Then when we pee on them it beads up and runs off. Great stuff.

I just had some big old black weird looking clouds..Looked really threatening but just a bit of rain..We just have to have a bird fly over the dish and pee and the sat is froze..I will have to try the rain-x thing ..Because it can be a real gonad freeze heading out at 9PM in my undies and rubbers with a broom on some of wet snowy nights to clean off the dish ..I will try that...Pretty sure I don't need it for my slippers yet..Nice thing about the country I can just head out and spread my feet and let it dribble..probably only the guys over about 65 know what I mean..getting old sucks..hmm

If they know about dribble...then they likely know about rusty zippers and yellow socks.

Lately it's been raining shortly after I take the riding mower out for a few laps. The 3rd attempt will be the one to get it done I think, but by then the front yard will need cutting again!!!

After 3 days I finally finished the grass cutting, although it was quite saturated and leaving mucky wheel tracks everywhere. I would have left it but I won't get another chance to cut it until next Tuesday or Wednesday and it was already at least a week overdue.

Magic grass? What are you feeding it? Mine isn't even half way to it's first cutting.

I never feed or even water my grass. It normally only takes 2 hours to do the whole yard, front back and both sides, on a rider. This week, every time I attempted to cut it, the skies would open up. I finished the back tonight, but it's looking like the front is already needing it again!

Interesting picture Harry of the barn in the first pic. The metal,, strapping,, and rafters are GONE. Just on the one side it appears. The purlins appear to be still there along with the ridge beam.
The trees on the left don't appear to be damaged.
