I am not sure it works with your laptop but check out one called dashboard..One tech with me uses it with his smart phone..I have never used it ..I am still old school with my OTC scanner..but it is current to 2012..and that is probably the last update for me on the OTC as I think I am going to start using the smart phone scanner app..I think that technology will continue to grow.. I don't think they have bi-directional controls or mode 6 yet on the smartphone apps.. vehicles have as many as 6 computer modules on most cars so the little cheapies are pretty limited for us in the shop when we have to do emission repairs ,or body controls with sliders, power sunroofs, power windows , TPMS, seatbelts, airbags, most automatic transmission are completely electronically controlled ,mode 6 lets us go in and check instantly almost if the repair was successful on a short road test with just 1 to 2  drive cycles, I don't think all that information is in an app yet..sure helps to know it's fixed..There is another one out there called Vag-Com..It is a windows  one and we use it for VW and Volvo , It's pretty reasonably priced but no good for anything but VW ,

 poncho,

The virus detection could be a false positive. Search the net to see if anyone has posted about an issue with this. Check with the company that makes the software?

If you have an Android cellphone or Tablet, download an app, the I think $4.99 for "Torque Pro" But you will need a obd2 connector that is Bluetooth enabled, lots on amazon.ca

You'd think that with a name like "Vag-Com", it would be able to diagnose Vulvas as well as Volvos !!biggrinbiggrin
